Mists of Pandaria will be coming out in a few months, and with it comes a huge upgrade to the way you obtain your loot from mobs. Instead of having to loot each mob individually, you'll be able to click one corpse and receive all of your loot from mobs nearby. Other MMOs have enjoyed this feature for awhile, and it's definitely been a long awaited feature for World of Warcraft.
More Time For Farming
Farming low level dungeons for loot can be a profitable pastime. In Mists of Pandaria, you'll be able to farm dungeons faster, or farm more of them. You and your guild will be spending less time looting and more time farming with this handy quality-of-life improvement.
Increased Availability of Loot
A lot of players often skip looting in dungeons because it is time consuming and slows down the pace of the dungeon run. Especially if you're a tank, taking the time to check every corpse for loot can be annoying. With one click AOE looting, more players will end up with more loot, increasing supply and possibly lowering costs on the auction house. This benefits just about everyone.
AOE Looting Makes WoW More Fun
Clicking a loot button isn't what makes a game fun! Having more up-time to killing mobs makes a lot more sense from the perspective of having fun. Especially when soloing low level dungeons and raids, you'll be able to clear mobs nonstop and not have to spend the greater part of your run looting everything.
